ADDITIONAL DRIVERS - Additional driver charge is $10.00 per day with a maximum of 3 additional drivers .
AGE - The minimum age of the Renter or any additional driver must be 21. Drivers age 21-24 may rent a vehicle for an additional charge of $15 usd per day with higher CDW deductible. No additional charges will apply if Renter is over the age of 25.
BUSINESS HOURS - Monday to Sunday 7am to 7pm main location opens all year round.

INSURANCE
TPL (Third Party Damage Insurance) with Deductible or Excess *Required
**This insurance is mandatory and costs $19.99 USD per day. It exempts the renter or any additional authorized driver from liability for damages to other people's property in the event of a collision. For damages to third parties, our local insurance company specifies that the deductible amount is 30% of the total damages caused to other people's property.
SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) *Required
**This insurance is mandatory. It covers third-party accident claims resulting from bodily injury, including death.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) with Deductible or Excess *Required
**This insurance is required and costs $18.99 USD per day. It covers damages to the rental vehicle and theft. It has a deductible of $2000 USD.
CDW+ (Full or Super Collision Damage Waiver) *Optional
**This optional insurance reduces deductibles and deposits. The price varies depending on the vehicle type.
TPL+ (Third Party Damage Insurance Plus with Zero Deductible or Excess) *Optional
**This optional insurance has no deductible or excess. The price varies depending on the vehicle type.
TWI (Tires and Windshield Insurance)
This optional insurance covers tires and windshields. The price is specified in USD per day. Negligence is not covered.
ERA (Emergency Roadside Assistance Insurance)
This optional insurance provides emergency roadside assistance. The price is specified in USD per day.
Underage Driver Fee
This fee is required if the drivers are under 25 years old. The cost is $15 USD per day.
Extra Driver Fee
The cost for an additional driver is $10 USD per day.
**If the required documents are not presented, the chosen insurance benefits will not apply, and no type of negligence will be covered.
Declining CDW Insurance: If the renter wishes to decline CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and rely on their own insurance, they must provide written proof from their insurance company. This proof must specifically state that coverage is effective in Costa Rica. By declining the CDW insurance offered by the car rental company and using my own collision insurance policy, I will be 100% responsible for any damages caused to the rented vehicle.
Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage.
NCR Auto Group Policy
DRIVERS LICENSE - Renter must present a valid driver license at the time of rental. Foreign renters must present a valid driver license and a valid passport and based on the date of the entry stamp, will be allowed to rent a vehicle for up to 90 days, present at time of rental.
GAS - Vehicle must be returned with same amount of fuel as rented to avoid a refueling service charge.
EQUIPMENT - Natural Car Rental has the following products available upon request: Baby Seat, Booster Seats and other accessories. Prices vary and all items are subject to availability upon arrival. It is the law that children and babies be seated in baby seats or booster seat you may be fined up to 360.000 colones by the Costa Rican police.
GEOGRAPHIC - Vehicles cannot be taken outside the country of Costa Rica. If you take the car out of Costa rica, then it will be considered negligence and a penalty charge will apply, plus time and expenses.
ONE-WAY - There may be an additional charge for dropping off the vehicle at a different office. The drop off charge varies depending at which office you are renting from and which office you are returning the vehicle into.
We accept only credit cards, not debit cards. The deposit amount ranges from $500 to $2,500 USD, depending on the package you choose. This amount will be held on your card at the time of rental. Once the vehicle is returned, the deposit will be released, which can take 7 to 14 business days. Credit cards will be subject to verification at the time of rental.
